If we think on good things, Christmas is a time of joy. It is a time of giving, instead of a time of getting. It is a time of love, that is, if we are reflecting God's love. However, if we are to enjoy all of the above we must, however, work through a pile of advertising clutter, a lot of hype and the torment that the devil brings upon us when we are going in the right direction. Now, if the above is not happening to you, you are probably not enjoying the benefits of being a Child of God. All these things are a promise, even the attacks of the devil. Remember that he hated Jesus and even tried to kill him as a babe. So, if he hates you, he will bring torment upon you. By his action against you, you will know that you are on the right team, God's team. So, greater is the Lord in you than the devil and all his angels in the earth. With the above picture in mind, you can have a nice and wonderful Christmas. Enjoy the good and rebuke the bad. But above all, remember to offer praise to the Lord Jesus and His Father. We do not praise God because of what He has done for us. We thank Him for this, but we only praise Him because He is worthy of praise. Remember this, when you are in an attitude of praise, God does work on your behalf. "Give and it shall be given unto you." Also remember that we have nothing to give to God but praise. He has everything else. When Jesus was born, an angel came to shepherds in a field tending their flocks and told them of the birth of Jesus Christ. "And immediately there was with the angel a great multitude of heavenly host praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, and good will toward men.'" (Re Luke 2) The peace that was proclaimed that day is the peace that remains: notice, peace was and is connected with praise. Today, that same Jesus sits on the right hand of the Father in heaven and fights your battles for you. All we have to do is continually offer praise to Him. This is hard to do, however, when our flesh is driving us toward answering the drawing power of ads in the newspaper, on radio and television. It is sad to see so many families stressed out during the Christmas season, but trying to keep up with all the activity and the money is almost too much for some people. This is where the result of praise offered to God comes in. It is hard to praise Him and at the same time be sad, fearful and/or mad. We desire the best possible Christmas for you, We wish we could see, or hear from all the people that have been blessed by this ministry, but that appears impossible. So, to all of you, "Have a Merry Christmas." Think on the good and not the bad. Let the love of God flow through you and be blessed. Thank you so much for your financial support and prayers during 2004. The Hubbards
